Thank you so much for the tip on printing labels. I’ve ordered the Bubble Jet Set and the Jet Set Rinse from Dharma. I am making all of my Daddy’s grandkids a quilt from his shirts. He passed away in November of 2010. Finally I have a way to put labels on the backs of them.

Here’s my label tip: Because of “quilt-nappers”, people who find/steal valuable quilts, I always affix my label to the quilt BEFORE I quilt it. The subsequent quilting OVER the label makes it very difficult for a quilt-napper to remove the identifying label without also leaving evidence of its removal. If you simply stitch the label on at the last, it can be easily removed, with little or no trace of its removal by replacing your label with their own. Happy…and safe quilting!
